Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation | Ashley Camara’s Story

When 25-year-old Ashley Camara was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer that usually does not affect the young, she began a journey that led her to two Damon Runyon supported physician-scientists who had been studying the hereditary nature of her disease. Their research helped Ashley find the right treatment and ultimately put her on a path to recovery.
